My Move to Missouri

My move to West Plains Missouri had been planned for sometime. Helen and Richard had made plans to build a home for me. This was just after Toby's new home had been built and the contractor had time to build one for me. Richard had acquired some oak logs and I would be like Abe Lincoln, however, in my case I would live in a log house in West Plains, Missouri.
At that time I was living in an apartment in Hidden Oaks, on the Pass Road in Biloxi, MS. So, I had made arrangements with Richard, Toby, and Will to move me to West Plains. Richard and ordered a moving van to be at my apartment at 7 PM on the 23rd o f March and when all was ready they put the things in the v an and we made arrangements with my niece Susan Vuyovich and her husband Dale in Saucier, MS., to pick up the things we had no room for. We all slept on the floor that night, and that was not easy.
At 4:30 the next morning, on the 24th, we finished loading and at 5 AM we were on our way to West Plains. Richard drove the truck and Toby drove my car and Will drove his, and of course his car was loaded to. (Smile) Each had a cell phone and was able to keep in touch with each other while on the way. We arrived at West Plains on the 24th at about 4:30PM and things were unloaded and I managed to have a good nights sleep in my new home. I will be forever grateful to all of them in helping get my things moved.
